La historia sigue a Lee Tang, un estudiante universitario común y corriente, que discute con un cliente durante un trabajo a tiempo parcial en una tienda de conveniencia por la noche, inconscientemente golpea un martillo y lo mata. Sufriendo de culpa y miedo al asesinato, Lee Tang descubre un día que la persona que mató era un asesino en serie y poco a poco se da cuenta de que tiene una habilidad sobrenatural para identificar ‘malas semillas’. Pronto se convierte en un héroe oscuro que castiga a las personas que cometieron males poco éticos en el pasado.

Un detective de sangre fría, carismático y persistente comienza a perseguir a Lee Tang.
