Overview  

Yeon-gyu is a teenage boy who wants to escape his hometown where violence is commonly enacted among neighbors. He only hopes to have a peaceful life with his mother. However, the world never allows him to have a dream nor hope for life. When Yeon-gyu needs a hand from grown-ups, Chi-geon, a thug of the town, offers a favor. The simple favor leads Yeon-gyu to explore the world of Chi-geon. It ironically results Yeon-gyu gradually falling into Chi-geon’s life. Grasping hope to run away from where he is, he struggles between the border. Can he escape from the town at the end?

Un pueblo sin futuro y sin esperanza.

Yeon Gyu, de diecisiete años, nació en este lugar y nunca ha estado en ningún otro lugar. Mientras soporta la repetida violencia infligida por su padrastro, ahorra dinero con la única esperanza de mudarse a los Países Bajos con su madre. Chi Geon, nacido y criado en esta ciudad, es ahora un jefe de nivel medio en una organización criminal. Habiendo aprendido desde pequeño que este mundo es un infierno, se las arregla a su manera.

Un día, Yeon Gyu se pelea para proteger a su hermanastra Ha Yan. Al no poder recaudar el dinero del acuerdo, Chi Geon ayuda a Yeon Gyu y, de esa manera, Yeon Gyu comienza una nueva vida como miembro de la pandilla de Chi Geon. Aunque asustado e incómodo, Yeon Gyu se adapta gradualmente con la ayuda de Chi Ggeon, quien es como un hermano mayor para él. Habiéndose ganado la confianza de Chi Geon mientras luchaba por sobrevivir en la pandilla, Yeon Gyu comienza a caer en circunstancias cada vez más peligrosas.

Para escapar del infierno, se convierten en parte de él.
